Hands-on coaching to build the core skills: leash manners, impulse control, and clear communication between you and your dog. We train you as much as we train the dog, because the real work happens in the reps you put in between sessions.
$100 in-person evaluation. Free consultation first.
Every program is custom. Shane meets your dog in person, sees what you are actually dealing with at home, and builds a plan around the specific dog in front of him — not a pre-packaged course.
What your program looks like, how long it runs, what we work on first, and what tools come into play is all decided after the evaluation — with you.
Your dog does not live in a controlled environment, so we do not train like they do. Sessions go wherever your dog needs to perform — your home, public parks, pet-friendly stores, sidewalks, restaurants, trails. The results transfer because the training does.
These are the kinds of elements Shane may weave into your plan — selected and sequenced based on what your dog actually needs, not pulled from a checklist. Your exact program is confirmed after your in-person evaluation.
Possible components — not a fixed package. The right mix for your dog is determined during your evaluation.
A solid foundation is the most underrated thing in training. When you get it right, everything else gets easier — advanced work, behavior change, public access, off-leash freedom. This program's focus is the foundation itself. Here's what that actually opens up.
Foundations open the door. What you do with what is on the other side is the conversation we have after your evaluation.
Not sure? That is exactly what the evaluation is for. Shane meets your dog and gives you an honest recommendation.

“What sets Shane apart is his individualized approach. He carefully observes each dog, then studies how it interacts with its owner — and builds a plan from there. The results we've seen have been meaningful and lasting.”
Stuart C., Cane Corso & Black Mouth Cur owner
“We left Xena, our 2-year-old Rottie, 5 days with him. She learned to listen, walk loose on a leash, and calm down. In just one week she showed so much improvement. He is a miracle worker.”
