I am based in Newberry — about 15 minutes from Haile Plantation. For private lessons, I come to your home so I can see your dog in the environment where the issues actually happen. All sessions are by appointment only. The evaluation is the same — free, in-home, no obligation.

Yes. Real-world proofing is part of every program. I train at the Haile Village Center, the trail system through the neighborhood, and at the Saturday farmers market. If your dog cannot hold a stay while a stroller passes at the market or stay focused on the trail near other dogs, the training is not finished.

Start with an evaluation. Shane assesses your dog in person, discusses your goals, and builds a plan around what your dog actually needs. Every program is custom.
At your home. I come to you so I can see your dog in the environment where the problems actually happen — your front door, your yard, your street. A dog behaves differently at home than in a neutral space, and that read gives me a much more accurate picture of what we are actually dealing with.
The evaluation happens at your home and there is no pressure to enroll. $100 in-person evaluation. I will tell you honestly what your dog needs and whether I am the right fit.
